I already had another one that cost me more than 3 times as much as this one. It's great for removing dead hair from pets while also brushing them. Size L is ideal for dogs.

Wonderful, I wish I had bought it earlier. Even though my Westie doesn't let me brush her, I was able to remove a lot of dead hair and tangles that she had had for a long time. There are still some areas that need to be brushed, but you can see in the photo some of what I was able to remove on the first day. I removed more on the second day, but that photo is from one of the sessions. I gave her a few treats on the first one because she wasn't as cooperative, but on the second one I had to trick her with treats to get her to do more areas.
The handle is made of plastic but seems good quality, it doesn't slip. The blade is metal and has two sides, one with the blades closer together and another with them further apart. The tips are rounded so it's not a danger and looks sturdy. If at any time it breaks, I will buy it again; it's one of the best purchases I've made in the 8 months my puppy has been with me.
